Aurélien Sauty

Aurélien is Head of Marine and Aviation at ASR, and is based in our Dubai office.  Born in London, Aurélien has spent time in various countries across Africa, the Middle East and Europe. He studied Law in France and went on to specialise in air and space law, before obtaining a MSc in International Business Law and Management from ESSEC Business School.

Aurélien joined the insurance industry in 2008 as an Aviation Claim Executive for AXA Corporate Solutions, and then moved to Aviation Underwriting in 2009 within the aerospace department. After almost four years, he moved to Dubai to become a Senior Marine Underwriting Manager within AXA. In 2018, Aurélien then joined AXA ASR in London to launch the Marine and Aviation lines of business, before moving to BHSI as a VP in Marine for the Middle East.
