Position: Head of Actuarial
Peter is the Head of Actuarial at Africa Specialty Risks, with 9 years of experience in the Actuarial and Underwriting space.
Peter was an Underwriter at Brit for over 4 years, where he wrote International Property Direct & Facultative (D&F) Insurance and where African risks made up a material part of the firm’s international book of business. A well-experienced and qualified Actuary, Peter has also previously held Actuarial positions with Brit, Chubb and EY in London, specialising in pricing. In his new role, Way will primary focus on the design of the in-house pricing models in conjunction with the underwriting teams.
Born in the UK, Peter is a well-experienced mathematician, holding both an MSc and BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bath.
