Maxwell Akpobasah

Maxwell is a Construction Underwriter at Africa Specialty Risks, with several years of engineering experience in Industry.

Prior to joining ASR, Max held Risk Engineering positions at CNA Hardy and Travelers supporting Underwriters with risk selection in various technical lines including Heavy Industry, Energy, Operation Power, Construction and Renewables. He spent over seven years at EDF Energy in various Engineering roles; including Design, Operations and Maintenance and Project Management on operational nuclear power stations and central engineering offices across UK and France. Max also worked on the Hinkley Point C project in Somerset.

Max is a qualified Engineer with Masters degrees in Chemical Engineering from UCL and Oil and Gas Engineering from the RGU, Aberdeen.
