Position: Assistant Underwriter - Political Risk & Trade Credit
Anna Burt is an Underwriting Assistant at Africa Specialty Risks as part of the Political Risk Insurance and Trade Credit team and has over 4 years of financial services experience.
Anna previously worked at Arbuthnot Lathan & Co, Ltd where she supported a large commercial client portfolio covering trading businesses in Professional Services, Real Estate and Healthcare with a focus on commercial lending and deposit growth. She has strong knowledge of commercial credit application and execution and with an understanding of the wider application of risks, with experience in dealing with complex company structures, jurisdictions, and due diligence.
Born in the UK, Anna is fluent in English, Spanish and Russian with conversational French, and holds a BA in Economics & Spanish from the University of Leeds.
